Vardy injured ?

Was he left out of the squad on Friday and will he play on Tuesday?
Not wanting to sound like one of the my clubs more important than my country ships anchors. Will he be fit for Saturday ?

If Roys protecting him thank..... By the way slagging of a manager of a national team is a pastime enjoyed by lots its very difficult job as you really are only as good as the players that turn up want to be.

Cant wait for the Game against France for the first time i will be cheering them and their country on.

Nev - I understand he isn't in the squad for Tuesday either.

Ranieri isn't concerned about him being fit for Newcastle.

The media have been told that he has not fully recovered from the injury he picked up against Watford, which sounds reasonable. Despite getting up and carrying on, he was pretty obviously hurt, and it's not that surprising that would need recovery time.

Yeah exactly. I'm happy he's returned to our medical staff, I somehow feel that he'll be better looked after here than with England.

Me too, arro. It comes to something when we trust our own medics over those of the national team, but there we have it.

Nev - it is true that the England manager can only utilise the players that are at his disposal. I don't think there's a manager in the world that could win a trophy for England and we were horribly shown up against Spain on Friday: Too many players wanting too many touches was a big factor, but more than that I just don't think our players have enough footballing intelligence to play against the best teams. It was the old adage of a team of individuals and they weren't playing as a unit. Hodgson only has so much time with them to foster that team ethic and understanding, so the players have to adapt quickly and I simply don't think ours can.

We've lucked out with a top seeding in the draw for the Euro groups, meaning that we should make the second round; however, as soon as we meet a Spain or a Germany we'll doubtless find ourselves horribly outclassed once again and be unceremoniously dumped out of the tournament. Still, at least Wales should be worth watching; even if there aren't many goals in their matches, they're really battling together as a team.

England used to play as a team and have "team spirit" but not for many years. It's not the amount of time, it's what you do with it.

Dung we should pick a team from The best of the rest who the first requirement that they want to play for their country. But we are so far behind on football intelligence we can't catch up.

But as a nation our FA cup produces surprise results and Roy should look at that one off approach for the knockout stages.

MoN new how to do that with us and Vardy would uit that role... All roy's got to sat to him go out their my son and win it for England and i will sort out the party and Charlie.
