Im gna say he's back because he's got money troubles due to bad property investments. Been doing the rounds on the rumour mill for a while now. Cheque bounced in Dubai not so long ago. Sold his boxing ring for 65k. Closed his gym down.
Good to see him back though if he does fight. People dont like him for his attention seeking antics, the aftermath of Wladimir fight but British Boxing and especially the Heavyweight scene would go up a level with Haye back.

He will struggle to get to the level he once was. 4 years out of the ring will take its toll

So he'll stay skint

He should fight Bellew as his first fight. Execute him for good. He's a gobby scouser too
Then go for Wilder.

Can't see haye being skint. If you lost money in property in the last few years you and your advisers must be clueless. 6-8m for the Klitschko fight and he has had no rush to get back, don't believe the story of him being skint. Maybe has all his money tied up in property and is down to 1/2m cash but skint no.

He should try the Olympics given how good he is at running

Interesting to see what level he can achieve.
At 35 having been out of action for 4 years, I don't rate his chances of emulating past success.
He is though, a phenomenal puncher, and a danger to any fighter. Excited to see how he does.

But how will he cope in the ring, he might get another toe injury

I know there is a lot of David Haters out there ( terrible pun ).
Yet I am looking forward to seeing him back in the ring. I’m not interested in his irritating persona or his toe excuses. Whatever level he operates at, when on it he’s one of the most exciting fighters out there in any weight division.
So its good luck from me

The toe thing has got really tiring. Apart from that Haye will be able to look back at his boxing career and be proud.
If he'd have competed in past eras when Heavyweights weren't such monsters there's every chance he would have been more successful and let's not forget he was a Heavyweight world champion.
The problem for Haye is that in this era he's simply too small to be a dominant Heavyweight. I'm not even sure he's as tall as the 6"3 he claims to be as he looked small compared to Wlad. Haye looks much closer to about 6"1 to me which is a huge disadvantage when your fighting 6"6+ fighters.
If Haye does come back (I still have doubts) then I'll be very interested to see what he can do and would love to see him fight someone like Wilder who he claims to have got the better of in sparring or even Joshua at some point down the road if he beats Whyte of course.
