Sturridge is back training and says he's ready to go!
I heard on the Anfield Wrap Podcast that Klopp has said he want's Studge to do 10 full days training before he will consider playing him.
Do you agree we should wait for 10 full sessions before playing him? Or if he feels confident himself does he make say the bench for City?
Can't wait for him to be back he makes such a difference to our attack.
How do we fit him and Benteke into the same 11?
My suggestion 4231
----------Ming--------
Clyne----Skrt---Lovren(Sakho when fit)----Moreno
-----------Lucas----Can/Milner(Hendo when fit)
Studge------Firm--------Cout
--------------Benteke---------
Any other suggestions?

@JamesPearceEcho: Klopp on Sturridge: "He's as good as he can be after the long break. He's not 100% yet. His qualities are outstanding."

I would give Studge a spot on the bench, bring him on with twenty mins to go if we really need him.
How would a fit Ings find a place in your lineup then op? He was outstanding when fit.

Ings will be on the bench, and im not sure about this 'outstanding' he was playing better than the others, hardly outstanding though

I would love it if Sturridge could remain fit.
He is a great player, could go on to be one of the very best British players.
I just can't see it though.

I dont like it when players declare themselves fit. IMHO that is the job of the manager at his presser tomorrow.
I think Studge knows this and wants to put pressure on Klopp for him to play a part.
Im in no way convinced the Studge is fully fit and would agree with Klopp if he didnt get played until next weekend against swansea

Players can say they are fit if they want, klopps not going to care about 'pressure' to play him

Of course Sturridge lacks bottle. It's not a case of whether or not he wants to play more of whether or not he can put little niggles to one side and play through the pain barrier - which he clearly cannot. Suarez could. That mentality was the biggest difference between the two.

No its nothing to do with a pain barrier, its a fact he gets injuries easily, unlike suarez who was a machine.

You would be surprised at the amount of times Suarez was seemingly injured and still played. Of course it is to do with pain barrier. Suarez beat England almost single handedly in the World Cup only a short while after undergoing keyhole surgery. Imagine Sturridge doing that
Sturridge gets a niggle which turns into a bigger niggle which eventually leads to months out at a time. His ability to play through the pain is also non existent.

Hope he stays fit for the match, but for how long?
