Hello folks, just wanted to see what the views on here are with regards to the "resurgence" of Rosberg. For some reason the press seem fixated on it and are trying to make a lot out of it.
One of the funny ones is when they talk about his 5 straight poles and 2 wins but neglect the 3 wins he did not get. I would prefer far more competition at Mercedes but it just amuses me the way the press have jumped up on this. Some even going so far as to suggest Hamilton is no longer motivated which is ballacks.
I also feel a lot of this has been managed by Mercedes. For some reason no one seems to be talking about the 5 month period where Rosberg did not win a race as well.
Nico will have purple patches over the course of a season but do not believe he can beat Hamilton over a season in my humble opinion. Also if Ferrari are stronger next year, do you think Mercedes will employ team orders?
Your thoughts please

Hamilton will have taken his foot off the pedal slightly this season as he has already won, it's human nature.
He doesn't need to take the risks he would be if he was still fighting for the championship.

Exactly, what I do not understand is why the press are making such a big deal about this. Do they not have other stuff to talk about?

With both Championships wrapped up, every day is gonna be a slow news day.
