I don't think we'll see him until the closing end of the season, Van Gaal said he wants to buy another LB in January as well.

Shaw, Rojo, Blind, Darmian, Young can all play LB. Then we have a couple young LB's in the reserves too. Very strange one.

I know, but he probably prefers Blind and Rojo at CB. Would rather we buy another RB to be honest.

LvG gets a bad rap at times for percieved lack of man management skills... But this shows a good level of comppasion and understanding... Not only giving him the days off (and not having to attend the PSV game) but also talking him up at a time where he probably feels a bit forgotten.

LGV said it would be the year of the Shaw in pre-season and I believe his injury has impacted our style massively.

Shaw not only started well defensively but also provided pace and width pushing forward, allowing Memphis to tuck in.

Once he returns I think we will see vast improvements.
