Welcome to the official match thread for Huddersfield Town v Middlesbrough on the 28th November 2015, Kick Off 3:00pm
Town host 'Boro this Saturday in David Wagner's first match in front of the Town supporters.
We all know how capable Middlesbrough are as a team so instead of dwelling on the players that will be kicking our backsides in roughly 44 hours, I thought I'd give you some facts about Middlesbrough the place...
- The body of a Native American, Moses Carpenter, is buried in Linthorpe Cemetery. Carpenter was a member of the Mohawk tribe and was born in Ontario, Canada in 1854; his birth name was Ska-Run-Ya-Te. In 1889, he visited Middlesbrough as part of a travelling show, where he tragically died of a fever.
- The Transporter Bridge is the only place in the UK where you can bungee jump from a bridge. If you take on the challenge, you’ll climb the 210 steps to the top, before diving the 160ft towards the River Tees.
- In 1801, Middlesbrough was a farm that was home to 25 people. Today the population is over 140,000.
- During the 1970s, actor Terry Scott, of Terry and June "fame", managed to drive his car off the end of the Transporter Bridge and was only saved from the murky waters of the River Tees by the bridge’s safety net.
- Middlesbrough has a town in America named after it. Middlesboro is the largest city in South East Kentucky and sits in a basin between Pine Mountain and the Cumberland Mountains, which is believed to be an old meteorite crater.
- During the 1966 World Cup, the North Korean team stayed in Middlesbrough. They trained at the ICI chemical works, where many locals would turn up to watch them practice.
- Famous people from Middlesbrough include actress Wendy Richard, musicians Chris Rea and Paul Rodgers, comedians Bob Mortimer and Roy "Chubby" Brown, magician Paul Daniels, legendary football managers Brian Clough and Don Revie, and rugby international Rory Underwood.

We did employ a high pressing game Champers. The energy levels and fitness of the players has improved 100%. I enjoyed the game despite the defeat.
Apparently Clayton has said on Twitter it was their hardest game of the season, which shows how hard we worked.
I'm looking forward to Birmingham next week.

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka said:
"It was not a good performance but sometimes games are like that.
"Huddersfield looked like the top team, not us. Huddersfield played really well and I expected that.
"I saw Huddersfield at Sheffield Wednesday and it's no surprise how well they played.
"David Wagner may have lost his first two games but he should keep going with his philosophy. When I came here I lost two of my first five matches but Middlesbrough trusted me and if Huddersfield trust him they will do well."

UTG, was that the music at the stadium?
No too disappointed Town lost, it seems they're heading in the right direction and I don't mean south. We've been shouting out all season for a goal scorer. It will be a true reflection of Mr Hoyle's blueprint of the defence and attack are not bolstered in January. Jeez, a striker is needed now!
Strangely, the lads confidence has probably grown in the last two matches. They competed extremely well against two top teams. Keep going lads and Wells, the goals are over there, get practising!
