Impressive attendance for the first day-night test cricket match. Hope this produces more competitive cricket than the last one in Perth.

Pink ball? Pink is a 'girly' colour, isn't it?
Latham a bit unlucky there not to get the benefit of doubt.

So, tea comes first and dinner after second session.

If D/N test matches can get 40K into the stands, all should welcome this approach. No point in playing in front of a hundred spectators, including a dozen camels, in a desert.

Nice morning for NZ. Aus 71/4. Shaun Marsh run out was so silly to happen in test cricket.

It happened because he I'd unbelievably 5h!t. Neither he not his brother deserve their place in the side. It's all who you know.

Fantastic session for NZ. They bowled well, fielded with enthusiasm, and took a couple of sharp catches.

how long before we(ENG) play one do you think......!?

Australia need Mitchell Marsh in the team for his bowling option..you need a 5th bowler in test cricket.especially on modern day test wickets that are usually very flat..

OK, but why not James Faulkner? Granted Mitchell isn't as bad as his brother, but he is a hopeless batsman on current form.

I don't know why James Faulkner doesn't play. Its the same in England sometimes.. Players get pidgeon holed as one day players.. I guess the austaralian selcectors see Mitchell Marsh as a better number 6.
Shaun Marsh also reminds me of a lot of English players that come into the team..
they play away from the body too much.. Lyth was a prime example.. he defended with his bat out in front.. You can't do that at international level..
