Could you see these two line up as our future striking partnership? Would take a huge decision from LVG to push Rooney out but he was pretty ruthless with RVP which I personally didn't see coming.
LVG said he was looking for another wide player which makes me think he sees both their futures through the middle.

Depay has been woeful on the wing and looked decent-ish when played as a striker.
That said, I've been trying to bite my tongue and be tentative because of his age but being frank... I think he's sheite.

Not in this philosophy. Messi would struggle for us. He'd score 20 goals a season for us.

I like Memphis. A few early games showed his talent but young players will be hit and miss till they figure their game out

Yeah,I think overall Depay has blown hot and cold in both roles.I think the first half against Watord he was good though the second half was was blooming woeful.

Both will be top players imo but I don't expect them to do it consistently just yet.

Rooney will not be dropped. It just will not happen. He seems to have a strange hold over LVG. I reckon LVG has erection problems, and rooney is giving his Missus a seeing too, in return for a starting place.
It's the only penetration rooney has done all season.
