I always found it funny that on Ringos solo albums he usualy had a session drummer in the credits,Jim Keltner I believe.It says a lot about Ringos drumming skills.It's not as if any of his solo albums were complicated music.

What did Lennon say?

Ringo's drumming on 'A Day In The Life' is top notch.

Don't know if you're being sarcastic with that one.It's hardly Buddy Rich but I suppose he keeps time at least.
Ringo,one of the nicest men in music but also one of the luckiest.

Considering it's my favourite tune of all time you can assume I wasn't being sarcastic. Ringo gets a bad press but Lennon and McCartney were very average guitarists.

It is a classic.Lennon and McCartney were good all round musicians without being true soloists.Genius songwriters will always be their claim to fame.For me Harrison is the one for me who was underrated,a half decent guitarist and a superb songwriter.Ringo was a very influential drummer just because he was a Beatle but never anything else.
