Spurs have won 1 game against the top 6 having played all of them, yet for some reason the media are fawning over them.

Fantastic result today, a lot of positives to take:

- Winning when all the others around us have dropped points.

- Performance was not good but probably down to the Europa match midweek. Players look tired (Spurs players looked very tired too today) but crucially we won after Europa, which makes it even better.

- We played Swansea at a good time in a poor run of form with uncertainty around their manager. Who's next? Southampton (lost their last two matches) in the cup and Newcastle (in horrible form) next up, so the fixtures are falling kindly at the right time for us.

- Just 6 points off the top now, closed the gap to Spurs who i think will be our biggest challengers to 2 points, and now 8 points ahead of that filfth from west London (9 with GD).

- Plenty of winnable fixtures to come in the PL, and a chance of making it to another league cup semi (although I expect that tie will be difficult)

- Key players in Henderson, Sturridge, Coutinho returning from injury.

-Chance to Klopp to add a face or two in January not too far away.

Very happy after that.

Oh and Europa qualification with the possibility of topping the group as well!

We look solid down the right side with Ibe and Clyne in tandem.

We have conceded 7 in the 10 games under Klopp compared to 13 in Rodgers last 10 games. 4 clean sheets compared to 2 clean sheets.

We have scored 15 compared to 9 for Rodgers. Failed to score in 1 game, compared to 2.

Improvement in every area basically, and Klopp has had arguably harder games.

I can still hardly believe we have Klopp! Can't think of a single club who wouldn't want him.

Thank you FSG.

It was a good result. I thought the peno was harsh but can see why he gave it.

Ibe and Can had mature games with better decision making I thought. Conversely I thought Benteke had had a bit of a stinker.

I think we were jaded a bit, some of those lads have been playing a lot lately. Considering arguably our four best players didn't start I think we did well. We'll create more with them back I feel.

Some tough decisions for Klopp to make in the league cup tie on Wednesday. I think it's a big game and would really like to see us make to the next round, but you could see a lot of tired legs out there in the last 20 mins today. The likes of Clyne, Moreno, Skrtel, Can have played so many matches over the last few weeks, we will have to give them a rest at some point.

We have no full backs but could play Hendo and Toure. Not ideal though.

Brad Smith could be worth gambling with. He's a flying machine at LB and could progress.
