Terrible performance today and yet more frustration with injuries to key players, but if we can take 11 points from the next 15, we can still sustain a challenge... providing Wenger brings in a DM and Striker in January. And I think it's entirely doable - we just need to muster up a fighting spirit and eek our way through the next 5 games somehow.
For now, let's put this 'defeat' behind us and hope for the best. Hopefully Santi's injury is just bruising and nothing more.
No point talking about Wenger's incompetencies; it's tiring.

How many comments did you delete?? You claim to be an optimist...but how can one person (Wenger) keep doing the same thing every year for at least 6 years and expect different results? I think you are not being realistic at all about your expectations (buying a DM).

We can still win the league by virtue of the fact that it is only 14 games in.
If you look on the brightside, we can still recruit a couple of good players in January so if we hang in close to the top (within 2/3 points) then those signings could give us the push we need to take the title.
Other then that we have failed to win any of our last three league games so we really have lost an opportunity to take the initiative and put ourselves clear of the pack.

Wenger won't bring in a striker and DM because we have Wilshere, arteta and Walcott returning to fitness. Also welbeck in the coming weeks after January. Not forgetting rosicky's token return to fitness to secure us 4th
