Fellow United fans....
Would you rather us come second with boring football or 3rd with good football?
Chelsea fans....
Would you rather Jose not have come back and you'd kept the likes of Lukaku, KDB, Mata and others he's let go?
Questions for United and Chelsea fans..

As Dunc says, 2nd/3rd is a sly way of framing the question. If what we're really debating is style versus points, maybe it would be more honest to ask whether we'd rather have a better shot at the title or a worse shot at the title while playing attractive football.
Personally, I think we waste a lot of energy agonising over how much we trust the manager. He's there and we support him. We hope the 'process' is working towards adding the kind of attacking penetration he says he wants from the team to the defensive solidity he has already achieved. The fact that we're not getting the results or the thrills we did at times in the past is just something we have to swallow. Most teams have phases where they aren't treated to flowing, attacking, glorious football. For most clubs that's the norm. Certainly when I was a kid supporting United there was the dream of perfect moments, possibly perfect games, but it was mainly prosaic, punctuated by the occasional magic from Whiteside or Robbo or Jesper Olsen.
"It's not the United way!" Maybe I'm old-fashioned but, while of course I want to be entertained, I don't feel entitled to it. I feel like I'm meant to suck it up, suffer the worst, and enjoy the good times when they come all the more because of the bad times. And right now, it doesn't feel half as hopeless as it did when we had Peter Davenport and Terry Gibson up front, nor when we had Moyes at the helm. I gave Moyes the benefit of the doubt longer than most.

Chelsea is a Fascinating Club

Ander Herrera spot on. I always find it funny some people are comparing us to Chelsea of last season the side that played mainly in there own half and gave up possession against better sides while Man Utd are complete opposite way of doing the way of playing and we also were best last season restricting the opposition shooting so its no suprise again:
Does our defensive record and home form give us a chance of doing well domestically and in Europe?
In the league, we’ve only conceded to Liverpool at home and it was a fantastic goal by Christian Benteke. If we want to win trophies and fight for the Premier League until the end, we cannot concede too many goals. You have seen Chelsea last year – they were very compact and won a lot of games 1-0. I do think we are different to them. We play differently because we do not want the opposition to have the ball, we prefer to always keep it. I think the best way to defend is when you have the ball because they haven’t got it and cannot score. We want to control all the games. If you want to win games, first of all you don’t concede goals and then you get the chances to do this.

Hafi: You are either a) Genuine on the WUM (I hope you are for your own sake). Or b) Completely detached from our reality so, you're probably living in different space dimensions to us
Otherwise, you clearly have skewed perceptions, whereby, there is only ‘your’ version of it, which is essentially your perception to the reality albeit different to anyone else on here.
