Turning into the player we all thought he could be.
Being played as a forward instead of wing back is a simple but massive difference and his upturn in form has been huge since Klopp came in.
Said it before about Ibe, he has the potential to be as good as he wants

I really can't see him as a rb. I'm not saying he couldn't play there, Gerrard could play there, but I think that would be a waste personally.
I still think he is a way behind Sterling at the same age, and always has been, but I'm unconcerned about that because it's kind of moot.
He's a good player with a lot of potential who seems to have his head screwed on properly. Let's see where that takes him and indeed Origi.

Got compared to Sterling which didn't help. Totally different player. Very strong as he showed with the goal. Still a way to go.
I'm off now to eat the last cold leavings of humble pie and custard after watching Origi and Lovren last night

I remember everyone always saying that Ibe would be better than Sterling and you have to say he seems to has his head screwed on in the right place..
Sterling has always been a tbh..
Backchatting the manager who gave him his break (and gave him time off in the Caribbean).
Smoking hippy crack.
Getting loads of women pregnant.
Not even trying to play in his final season with us etc..
Lets hops its a different proposition with Ibe under Klopp's influence

Myself and RAP have always said we expect Ibe to surpass Sterling
Had more about him in the reserves, although under Rodgers Sterling did add more facets to his game, bizarrely however Rodgers seemed to hamper Ibes development and prevent his natural game, Klopp seems more suited as a manager to an inside forward like Ibe whereas Rodgers wanted him converted to a chalk on the boots winger/wingback
I can see Marko thriving under klopp too.

Ibe won't be better than Sterling IMO but he is a good player who was in poor form and confidence.
Now he has his confidence back he looks a player again but still has a long way to go.
