Probably the best tie Posh could have got is this one at home against a Luton side with an ex-Posh manager and players.
Instead of a non-league side, we'll have healthy, relatively local opposition, who attract a good following.
If we reproduce current form, a big win is on the cards.
The possibility of playing one of the big boys in the next round beckons.
Let the winning team be Posh. Such a result would be the perfect present for my birthday on Sunday the 6th.

I don't know what the weather will be like tomorrow, but I hope it isn't as windy as today; which may spoil the game. Poor people of Appleby, though!

Good morning too, TF. You must be on top of the world, and looking forward to playing Barca next season. Good to see a new force in the Prem. Apparently, Jamie Vardey chose the Foxes over Posh - your gain, our loss (although we have some good'uns at the moment).
Hauntyou has been in the spirit world for some time, but I guess could make an appearance at any time.

Job done - it could have been by more (34 shots) but we were not as clinical as we have been lately (only 6 on target). Great to witness the warm welcome back given to Mark Tyler (who was in tip-top form) and Craig Mackail-Smith (who hit the post).
Leicester next?

Should have won 8-0, 2nd half one of the most one-sided I have ever seen.
Shame Washington didn't bury that chance from the Smith cross as that would have been a fantastic goal after Bostwicks 60 yard laser pass.
Mind you, the goal Washington did get wasn't half bad!
Don't care who we get, fancy us against anyone in this form, including the overpaid PL lot.

Preston - what a bore! Exeter V Liverpool - what a waste!
Still, at least we're at home, and in with a very good chance of progressing to a Prem tie.

TP Man Utd will smash Wolfsburg 5-0. The gulf in quality between the 2 sides is amazing. Only way Wolfsburg will beat Man Utd 2-1 is by a smash and grab raid.

Sorry Hafi for nearly being right - it was 3-2 to VW instead of my predicted 2-1. Man U are not looking good right now under Van Gaal.
