Georgios Samaras!!!!!!

1515: Blackburn and Sunderland have 'tabled offers' for Georgios Samaras, according to his agent and are offering him more cash than the Greek striker is on at Celtic, too, reports BBC Sport's Matt Slater. However, the agent thinks a deal is less than 50/50 likely to happen, as Celtic want more money.

Are you having a laugh!?!?! I would rather Yakubu at least he scored goals when he played any games in the premiership!!

Does wee still mean small? I'm not too clued up on Scottish. Ki is a good player who would probably do well in a top 6 Premiership club, he'd work wonders here.

Yeah I know mate - which is why I won't be happy if he leaves Celtic. Although I wouldnt blame him as the Scottish game is a complete joke and why not earn 40k a week if you have the chance

Is that why I keep hearing about the OF moving to the Premier League? Can't see it happening to be honest.

I'm hoping for Ki but we'll probably get some unknown Centre Mid from Norway.

Samaras proved at City he wasn't good enough for the Prem and his performances in the SPL mean nothing. It's frankly depressing news that we're trying to sign him. Only hope I'd be wrong if we did get him. Yakubu on the other hand will score us goals and I would be pleased to see him here.

They really must mean nothing. 3 SPL goals last year tell you he was pretty dam awful and yet clubs are still trying to sign him.

Selling him and Maloney would turn out to be Celtics best transfer day business in a long time, and all to the so called "best league in the world", these guys cant even cut it in the SPL.

Well Yakubu is twice as good as him so if people weren't happy with that god knows what they make of this. Personally I think he's been excellent at Celtic but has already tried and failed to make it at this level at Man City. About as good as Kalinic in my opinion, so not good enough for us.

Yakubu - a worthy successor to Benny McBurger!
