fabregas has had the last few years off though, bench warming most of the time, and let's be fair, strolling around in the best team in the world when he did play. rooney has played nearly every week when fit, and spent most of that time as one of the main players in a hard working team, getting lumps kicked out of him the premier league

Tbh, I would still not discount Cese..he needs a break to find himself again. If he trains himself for a Alosno, Prilo role we might see another renaissance from him.

The only thing is that Fabregas looks lost and broken man. Maybe the sub-concious guilt about Arsenal is crushing him and Chelsea/Jose has never been his cup of tea.

Once he moves to Seria A or leagues of that sort..we might see a new Fabregas mature, experienced and a true leader sort of like CMs who has second prime during their late 20s and early 30s.

For this to happen he defo needs to move to another League Seria A would be perfect for him. He'd be ripping teams apart at will.
