FORM IS TEMPORARY, CLASS IS PERMANENT.
Permanent ? No it isn't.
If it was then Bobby Charlton and Jimmy Greaves would still be in the England team based on their undoubted class. Rooney used to be CLASS, he's over the hill now.
Besides why should anyone pick "class" players who are clearly way off form ?
Fergie knew when players' class expired and he got rid.

Ace, agree, like the classic "He did brilliant", it's "brilliantly" you bloody morons.

"He felt a slight touch so he's entitled to go down" - NO HE BLOODY ISN'T , that is diving. If you are clearly fouled
then maybe but as football isn't a non-contact sport a "slight touch" would not be a foul. It;s ususlly ex-strikers (The Shearers and the Owens !!) who often say that.

"It's a results business", no, it should be about entertaining the fans in the stands and that is not always the same thing.

but it is a results business though...

It used to annoy me when Rooney tried one of his chips (not the food), and the commentator would always say how it's a brilliant effort. If they were that brilliant he'd score from them. In about 50 chipped attempts I think he's scored with one, against Portsmouth in the cup, about a decade ago.

It's hard to tell who has vvanked over Rooney more; Tydesley or Tyler. They must take an extra pair of underwear when they do games with Rooney.

A bit off topic but, I caught sight of Motson a few days ago and the years have not been kind.
He looks like someone's elderly paedo' grandad these days <yikes?>
