Actually Not a Bad Weekend

Taking a step back and not looking at our result in isolation, obviously it could have been better with 3 points, but considering that we played poorly by all accounts, at a tricky and physical west brom, we actually gained a point on Liverpool and Man City (and Chelsea I suppose), and kept pace with Man United. (3 of those 4 teams I would say had an easier game on paper than what we had).

not too bad all in all considering that we put in a seemingly rare poor display.

we need to get back on it next week though, with 3 points home v Newcastle

We have only battled relegation once. So let's not things up to suit

You could argue we are pointless, just as the likes of Manchester city and man utd would argue you are. As you are unlikely to challenge them

I don't think WBA are pointless and I have far more respect for you than I do for the oil lottery winners but I don't like Pulis (a man in his fifties in a shell suit and baseball cap) and I thought the gate was a bit low. Just wondered if the 2 were linked?

don't let Arsey see that. he wants Pulis to replace Poch as spurs manager

could you ever imagine if spurs were to recruit someone like Pulis

I can imagine that....

Lloris
Alderweireld, Fazio, Wimmer, Vertonghen
Mason, Dier, Dembele, Bentaleb
Eriksen
Kane

We've had to tolerate some idiots in charge of our club over the years but thankfully we've not stooped that low.

Edin,

Fine, I may be wrong.

Stop misconstruing the statements people make. Abhorrent trait.

============================

There is no "maybe" about it. You are wrong. Nobody misconstrued anything you said - your statements on the subject were wrong. End of.

There is no forfeit to face. Just accept it and move on...

Oh yeah I forgot Chadli.

Walker and Davies will be on the bench. Walker isn't quite tall enough and Davies doesn't quite have the power and physique to take Kane's spot

How did article descend to this? Surely even the most ardent Albion fan will recognise we're aiming at different short term ambitions?

On paper only, it's 2 points dropped by us and a great point for them. In the context of the game then a draw was fair.

But as per the article, yes, not a bad weekend with the other results.

Off weekend (performance wise) for us, but keep playing as we have been this season and we'll put together a good run at some point.

I thought Dembele was lucky not to be injured and McLean lucky to stay on the pitch

But strange how Kane's shocking challenge in the first half has not been shown on any highlights packages, at the time he seemed lucky to stay on
