He has played 435 games so far in his career and has 152 goals, which is a goal every 2.8 games. Last season his goal tally was a goal every 3.2 games for Cardiff, and for the majority he played on the left.
He is a left footed player who can play along the front three. He has pace and has experence at the top level, and already knows the club well. He might be a bit of a kn@b, but I can see him getting along with the English lads. We have all had that mate who everyone hates to love, and Bellamy is that kind of guy.
He will be a better choice then Ngog, and his link up play will suit the likes of Suarez, Downing and Adam.
What do you guys think?
Why Craig Bellamy?

I appear to be the only Liverpool fan who is worried about this. This signing is not a sign of ambition. We have sold a 22 year old and replaced him with a 32 year old? Surely Shane Long or Park Chu-Young would have be a much better option?

What are you talking about?? Bellamy will make a decent backup striker for a year, especially on a free! "not a sign of ambition"? The owners have spent £100m in a year

I just feel that we are signing an unwanted player from one of our rivals which isn't a good statement of our intent to break into the top four.

Apparently Gignac was available on loan. Would be a better signing than Bellamy!

We're not talking first choice striker here but a great backup. If we want impact from subs who'd you have more confidence in, him or Ngog.

i dont rate bellamy - disruptive and a proper kn@b end. Whats even more worrying is we are prepared to match the £95k a week wages this clown is on !

comment by Luis Carroll - We won it 5 times (U9089)
If we signed someone say 23/24 then there is no reason as to why Suso and Morgan cannot step up.....
Luis, Suso and Morgan are superb players coming through the ranks, but not yet. Too young. I know that Flanno and Robbo have already played for the senior squad, but its too really for these young boys coming through. JimmyTheRed

We're only buying him for two matches against Fulham this season.
