SWIE it was me who told him we don't always want to swear which is why I was posting on both sites at the time. I don't swear over there either but about six months or so ago I waded through another thread filled with juvenile taunts and swearing and really let rip. I realised I needed a break from forums in general and pretty much stopped even going on the internet until a couple of weeks ago.

And your point about posting stuff here so those who don't look elsewhere know something even if it's bad is well taken. I just feel that over the last ten days or so there hasn't been much of substance to say about anything. Frankly the silence from the club is truly annoying given the situation and the papers/websites/tv channels etc are speculating wildly because they have no concrete facts which only adds to the confusion and the feeling that things are reaching a point of not being recoverable.

CEF when you have a moment could you peek into your PM box on the unmentionable site? Cheers mate.

It's called Bolton (a word that rhymes with huts and is a slang term for crazy).

Admin1 in particular hates them because he feels they poached people from here. I'm not so sure they did because I'm not the only one who posts on both. The main difference is that there's no language restraints over there and to be honest I sometimes think there isn't enough discipline on threads either.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy both forums tremendously but they have very different approaches and very different styles. I don't swear on either site as a general rule but that's simply because I prefer not to. The banter over there can be genuinely funny at times but it can also go horribly wrong and descend into juvenile name calling too. Even the main man there got tired of it a few days ago and threatened to change the rules of the site if it didn't stop.

However, with those caveats in mind I would add that most of the time it's a pretty smart place populated by people who care passionately about the club. In my opinion there's plenty of room for both sites and I enjoy posting on both. I wouldn't leave one for the other because they both have things to recommend them and operate in very different but enjoyable ways.

lPp - seriously best to leave this subject alone mate.

Will do Clegg. It's why I danced around it a bit. I know they're about as popular as Nick Clegg in a University on here
