To my mind ,A J would beat Fury if they fought next , and probably stop him as well, as long as he knows not to get involved in the circus games ,and curbs his youthful exuberance. He must also not be conned into going gung-ho !, at top level, you cannot be careless and over confident ,that was a good lesson he learned last night .
I also think that should he ever fight Klitchko ,at the moment , he would lose, and I think that he also realises that,so it won't happen, come on AJ you will make a mint over the next few years and then ,if you retain your humble and decent mentality , maybe even a knighthood !.
A J v Fury .

That was exactly what Joshua needed last night, he took a big shot, got hurt, recovered and came through it. He made plenty of mistakes he can learn from and not make again and got a nice active 7 rounds in.
Don't understand the glass chin talk, he took a full blooded shot from a guy who can punch and didn't go down. Are you not allowed to get hurt from a heavyweight punch these days, seriously? So he doesn't have a granite chin like Vitali, who does??? Even the solid chinned Vitali was floored and hurt by Corrie Sanders, these are heavyweight punches for goodness sake, it's not like AJ was floored by a cruiserweight like Fury was.
Chisora would be a good step up next.

I think Chisora would have a strong chance of scoring a KO.

Fury would get inside his head with his taunts about being a druggie on steroids etc.
Would be interesting

Completely agree.
It appears that many people dislike the hype around Joshua. I understand this but I still rate him as a fantastic prospect and a future world champion. He's not a other David Price. He took a heavy shot, came back and carried his power through to the mid rounds. This fight was exactly what he needed.

Del Boy is an experienced durable heavyweight, Haye kncoked him out but I think thats the only time he's been stopped.
For AJ I would say thats a sensible step up from Whyte. Del Boy brings the prospect of taking AJ into the later rounds and keeping the pace up, yet I don't think he carries punching power like Whyte.

Fury also stopped Del boy. I think AJ will KO Del Boy too. It will probably be his last pay day before he becomes a journeyman.

A good fight for AJ v Chisora .He would get a lot more experience, which is exactly what he needs, but I think that he would stop Chisora in the later rounds.
By the time anything materialises with Fury ,AJ will be more than ready.

For me the op Of this thread just stinks of not understanding that there are levels between complete bum and world champion and that while aj is well past bum level he ain't at world champion level just yet.
Aj got a good win and it was a test, but to think he is now ready to take on and beat a world champion is I think laughable.
He needs some more fights, increasing now to good solid heavyweights who will test him, he made mistakes and did things that would get him beat if he went to world level.
He needs to take on fighters which will challenge him to close those holes and then move on from there, in the same way he fought bums before stepping up to last night.
There isint just no mark journeymen and world champions, there is loads inbetween which aj needs to take on now.

There's no way Joshua would beat Fury rat this moment in time
I think Fury would more than likely knock Joshua out if they fought right now
Give it a couple of years and then maybe Joshua would win
