Why did they throw the run away at such a crucial time when they could gain ground in the top 4 after man utd's defeat? Is it the curse of Thursday night football before a league game? I thought Kane was rested especially for today's game but he went missing again.
Excellent result for Newcastle, 3 wins out of 3 at WHL for them
Did the unbeaten label get to spurs head?

It shouldn't have gone to anyone's head seeing as that run contained more draws than wins.

We ran out of steam and ideas second half, some of our players maybe were starting to believe the hype, but this should be a reality check for them.
Credit to Newcastle, they hung in there and rode their luck a bit, and grabbed a couple of goals from our mistakes

Anyone with half a brain could have seen this coming. You can't play high pressing game in ALL the games in this league. You'd be running out of steam by February if Poch doesn't come with a plan B.
He needs to learn to set up the team to sit back and counter attack rather than fighting for every single ball.

It's a lack of game management from an inexperienced squad.

It`s clear that Spurs should be burying teams, and they simply are not. Didn`t see the first half, but apparently they should have been out of sight. Against Arsenal they should have been out of sight as well, plus other games they have dominated, and then dropped off. Nothing majorily wrong just need to start converting some of their many chances, it has happened a few times this season, City, West Ham, Bournemouth, but needs to happen more.
