Mignolet to sign new contract in Next 2wks

Holding on to the ball 22 seconds too long or last year when he couldn't make his mind to kick the ball he let it run out of play leading to a corner!!!!

That my main problem with Mig. He just has that dof look on his face all the time

To add to that, Liverpool have allowed the fewest shots on their goal but Mig has conceded more goals than about half the league.

Instead of asking for stats - look them up yourself. It's not hard - nor is it difficult to comprehend when you watch the club week in, week out.

This clean sheet record is down to many things - great defending, great tactics, strikers having off days. Goalkeeping errors are not.

You cannot defend having the most error prone keeper and a player that costs you more points than anyone in the entire Premier League.

Lovren and Mignolet - Dumb and dumber. Their vacant looks says it all.

I'd be very disappointed if Mignolet was to stay as our keeper next year. Surely this would just be a move to get more money from him when we sell him in the summer. I flipping hope so.

Lovren has been absolutely fine since coming back into the side.

Also, I don't know how Mignolet is better than Jerzy Dudek, or even latter years Pepe Reina. With neither of those keepers were we having a debate about his mistakes every week.

And to say he's better than the basically untested Bogdan, who's done very well in his handful or performances to date, is harsh.

We clearly have very, very different ideas on what makes a good goalkeeper.

Was he great in his last year? Nope? Was he worse than Mignolet? Absolutely not.

Was he great in his last year? Nope? Was he worse than Mignolet? Absolutely not.

He was by far worse than Mignolet. It wasn't even close. He went downhill rapidly when he didn't get the move to Arsenal that he wanted. He lost all interest and didn't even go for some shots, he was resigned to them going in before even attempting to save.

Was a great keeper for us overall but was woeful in his last season.
