"I never said I was a phenomenon, but it's certainly not my fault if, in 2004 after coming to Chelsea and asking why Ranieri was replaced, I was told they wanted to win and it was never going to happen with him.
"It is really not my fault if he was considered a loser at Chelsea."
I wonder which Chelsea manager the last line now aptly fits?
Replace the year and name

That's a shout, surely there are some they can recall to try and bolster things?
I mean, it's gonna be difficult to get top players in at the moment, but there have to be some decent players out on loan who could do a job?

You have read my many comments slating jose and our players, mate.
Some idiots, not you,are now saying jose and chelsea, were always crap.
That is silly, and my neck is not out in any form, lol
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wouldn't say the Chelsea side was "crap" however. You are and were always, not worthy of the title "Champions." As being demonstrated currently. You are in fact "Paper Champions," and that is neither something to be proud of nor anything to be bragging about.

Yup,chelsea faded from this January onwards, and failed to get Stones or Pogba, but if rivals refuse to sell, what do you do........get the players, motivated, and jose has not done so,imo.

Always seems to struggle motivating teams after the players have had to deal with him for more than a couple of seasons. Testament to how average a "manager" he actually is. Truly "great" managers just don't have this problem.

Not even trying to WUM, but this is a good point to an extent. He is an exceptional short-term, successful manager. He is one of the top managers of the 2000s era; but he doesn't have a long-term legacy if the Chelsea he helped reach certain highs then begins to crumble at his hands. At least Pep's Barca continues to reach a new level with the foundations he revitalized.

As far as I'm aware, Mourinho won the league last year and numerous other trophies consistently. He has done what he was touted as and brought in to do, being a winner and winning. This he has done while Chelsea manager, so the op is well off base with his snide remarks.

Mourinho would have to go a long way to ever be considered a loser at Chelsea, or anywhere else for that matter.
One terrible half season - an incredible statistical outlier, given Chelsea's recent history - does not suddenly wipe away all of a manager's achievements.

Seriously what's the point in loaning out tonnes of players? The idea of loan deals is to give players who are not ready for your own team yet game time. Why Chelsea buy all these players in the first place when they are irrelevant and never make it at Chelsea? Where is the sustainability in this club?
You dont need a manager who earns a sack full of money to buy players who cost millions until you win the title. Where is the art of managing here? Every blind fool could do the same job with the money at Chelsea available.
