Ben Davies is Better Than Danny Rose.

Rose is better

Danny does my head in with his poor deliveries into the box a lot of times.
If he can sort that out he would be class but saying that he has improved.

If we were going to change our system completely, and go with a 4-4-X variant with a winger in front of him, then Davies would be the first choice.

But we aren't.

Davies is a good player, has a good touch, is tidy with the ball, but he simply isn't quick and mobile enough to get up and down enough for the way Poch wants us to play.

Rose currently has Eriksen in front of him who does a grand sum of zero defending. He is going to get caught up the pitch a few times but the other fullback has to worry about him getting behind them so it puts is on the front foot.

The Sheffield United game sticks in my mind with Davies. He has Eriksen ahead of him, had no protection and got absolutely terrorised - he didn't know whether to stick or twist and was caught numerous times with a ball in behind him or one on one with their tricky winger (I forget his name)

I do think Ben Davies is better than Danny Rose.

Corluka was a better defender, and footballer, than Kyle Walker.

You couldn't drop him in this side either though without changing the style completely

I do find there is a real blind spot among a lot of fans when it comes to fullbacks.

I think many are still under the impression we all play two banks of 4, and their primary job is to defend.

It is not

Corluka was quality , that boy could play football. Was gutted when he went.
