at what point are they no longer 'off to a bad start on will improve' and in a relegation battle?

I'm sure a couple of teams above them (Bournemouth and Newcastle) and all the teams below them have already been mentioned as relegation candidates.

Glad Chelsea easiest win of the season was against Arsenal I hope Chelsea can do the double over Arsenal and beat Man City and Leicester City at home.

Go on then. Football is a results business. Chelsea aren't getting results. How longer can you keep not getting results before you are considered a serious possibility of going down?

Not in mid December after just 16 games, with another 22 games and a potential 66 points to play for, that's for sure.

If Chelsea are still in the same position come mid April, then I will be concerned.
