youngsters

This is an interesting read following Monday night's Under 21 match ....

http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/manchester-united-u21s-6-1-10600540

A lot of mention of quite a few of the United youngsters of late. In this piece there is particular mention of Tuanzebe, Rashford, Ro-Shaun-Williams, and Fosu-Mensah. Add these to Goss, Mitchell, Cribbin (spl) and there appear quite a few prospects.

Who is the best prospect and will they be given chances to shine at United?

The comments on McNair in the attachments are brutal too!!

What is unfortunate is that none of the youngsters will make it.

£200M summer this one is going to be, easy.

One thing you can't criticise LvG of is not blooding in youngsters. We spent alot this summer and have given game time to plenty of youth players.

Problem is any good young players and they are shipped out on loan.

Another factor is that he did not buy enough players

Maybe because he thought the youngsters were good enough to take over, if injuries hit hard?

Varela, McNair and Jacko seem to be doing fine. Lingard too.

Flock knows why he got shot of Januzaj and Wilson though.

He sent Januzac on loan because he wasn't performing. Sorry about Wilson though.
Nobody can say LvG doesn't give youth a chance, and it is not just when there are injuries.

Heard that Gribbin and Ro-Shaun Williams are the ones to keep an eye on for the future

Januzaj didnt make the BVB squad for their game against Augsburg due to a reported poor attitude and performance in his last showing.

You can have all the talent in the world but if you're not dedicated in progressing then, really, what is the point.

I really don't think that Januzaj is anything special, he doesn't appear to be particularly adept at anything, just a lightweight attacking player who gets barged of the ball 9 times out of 10.

I do like that LvG has thrown some youngsters in, to big games as well, regardless of whether he had to or wanted to it's great to see academy players in the first team.

==================

they are? were playing terribly, these players are average. hes giving oppertunities to players that arent good enough because he didnt prep the squad well enough.
