I see in the paper today that John Souttar is being linked to Celtic in January. Now this is not a surprise and to be honest his form has been very poor lately. I think he has potential but needs to work hard and show more appetite.
The one that does really worry me is Ryan MacGowan to Aberdeen. I think he has been very good since joining us and through our bad run of games has been one of the few players who looks up for the fight to improve results.
The loss of these two would further weaken an already poor side. Has anyone heard any positive rumours about potential signings in January?

Like players that were signed in November.
Would be a shame to lose McGowan. I've only seen the TV games this season but he looked a stand out, not that it'd be particularly hard to stand out in this team. Souttar, I'd care about as much as he does.

I'll be absolutely non-plussed if Souttar goes. I don't think his heart is in it anyway. I've also heard from someone from within Tannadice that he's definitely going there in the summer.
McGowan is a tougher one. I like his dig and his attitude but ultimately he isn't a particularly good footballer, and I like a right back to get forward and cross the ball in the box. I'd also say I wouldn't blame him as at this moment in time Aberdeen is a far better place to be than with us, particularly if we're looking at dropping down a league...
I should also add this Kawashima situation is becoming a joke. Apparently he doesn't get to sit his English test until 30 December. He is fluent in 5 languages ffs. Unreal.
