It's ok when it's easy and players don't need managing because they're confident and at the top of the league, but this season he's not had a clue what to do and looks well out of his depth and he's acting crazier than Pearson did.

He also can't motivate and sort out a squad of players worth £200m, pretty poor work really and his credentials as a manager have just plummeted as far as I'm concerned.

He's a short term manager and a brilliant one but flawed in a way the true greats aren't. He's fallen out with his key players and staff and lost the dressing room. His attitude is poor and that's what has cost him.

Nothing will ever take away from the achievements with Porto though, where he took them way beyond their level. He also showed up Ranieri when he took the team Ranieri failed with and won the league and champions league

Pearson failed at getting us promoted and then the next season won the league? Ranieri didn't get that next season to build on, had he been given the chance who knows? It's important to remember he lost out to the Invincibles, no shame in that!!

Mourinho took over Chelsea in a similar position to what Ranieri has inherited here. Mourinho benefited from Ranieri's four years and Ranieri has benefited from Pearson's four! Mourinho got lucky and so has Ranieri now!
