I am Chelsea first,and managers come and go,but I do laugh at folk slating the Jose record,at various clubs, put against Wenger, for example.

I am relieved Jose has gone, and look forward to letting players prove they were not the problem, as the jury is out on some of them..

Jose was good for us,up until this season,so I will not ignore that fact, especially from rival fans giving it the big lecture posts.

That is all.

True, but It grates that Arsenal fans can slate him but excuse Wenger. That man is 10 times the loser. A fraud of an Arsenal manager for nearly a decade.

The slating of Jose is has little or nothing to do with results achieved. The fans that you say excuse Wenger, are not doing so whilst Wenger goes around running his mouth like an obnoxious insulting people and generally making a public scene of himself and the club. I'm sure Wenger too would have been sacked had he behaved like Jose does, over the years.

People are slating Jose because of the MAN he is and because of his conduct. You can accuse AW of many things but behaving disgustingly is not one of them.

How can you look at/go to the Emirates and then call Wenger a fraud?

Bought and paid for and "ALL OUR OWN WORK." The stadium, the money and the future he's given this club, is worth so much more than the trophies he failed to win in the time he spent building it all.

If you can't see that then the only fraud around here is you mate.

For starters, I support Arsenal FC, not Wenger FC. Secondly, the man IS a fraud. One of the numerous excuses for not winning anything (including any of the domestic cups) was that he was given no money. Now we are in the black and yet still we are balking on buying sufficient talent to bolster our OK squad. Whats the excuse for not strengthening it now I wonder ?

Well, I personally said there isn't much to excuse for the last 3/4 years. But if you think Arsenal would be where it is now without those controls then you're deluded. And that was done for the club, not him.

You must not be paying attention because Arsenal fans slate Wenger quite a lot. Wenger may not have all the trophies that Mourinho has but Wenger is a much better manager and club custodian.

Wenger has not brought success to the gunners, whereas ego mad winner jose achieves at various top clubs, including us.
As a guy, jose is a flawed genius and his nasty streak was unleashed at chelsea, so I know he has helped us in the past, but not mow obviously.

Wenger is a different personality, but lost to jose in terms of trophies and head to head tussles, so it is pointless comparing wenger to jose, imo......but I just have????

With views like this you are not an arsenal fan. Equivalent of calling Henry, Bergkamp or Alan Smith frauds and spouting hate towards them. Anyone who talks about the legends of the club in such a manner does not deserve to support the team and should not be recognised as a fan.

Again, Wenger's success is not only in the form of trophies. If not for him and the changes he brought in, it's likely the club would be the equivalent of Tottenham. Yes there are questions over his on-field success recently but as I said, there was a period where the club had to make sacrifices on the field to progress off it... without being bankrolled by an Abromovich. I take all that into account rather than just the trophy-winning side of things, which I admit Mourinho has excelled at (even though he's tended to employ a rather boring brand of football for the most part!). And that's also before talking about their personalities too!
