Best Manager in the world..

Yet he has been fired from his last 2 jobs and to make matters worse player power contributed to his ultimate downfall in each occasion as did the poor results.

I am a bit disappointed that Chelsea have sacked him, I honestly wanted the club to come out and support him and make sure that the club would back him even if they went down to the championship.

That would have been the perfect oipportunity for him what it takes to fix problems and build a squad not moan when the chairman wont buy the players he wants or when players dont perform.

welcome to the world of the likes of Fergie and Wenger. Sadly you wouldn't have a clue of what to do once things get tough.

I wonder where those who used to say he would build a dynasty at Chelsea and win at least 7 of the next 10 titles

Chelsea fans should show some respect to Roman.

Some of the anti-roman outbursts I have heard from chelsea fans are misguided.

When they stop becoming hysterical they will see that Roman only has Chelsea's interests at heart. He sacked him for the sake of the club.

Roman bought Chelsea for £1. Really big club before his money wasn't it. If you don't belive me you'd better check out their fanzine

This idiot thinks Roman bankrolls everything at Chelsea, lol.
-------------------
Got to be one of the dumbest statements ever posted here. Actually attempting to deny that Roman bank-rolled the whole show until FFP took hold. You really think Chelsea could have afforded all those players and wages without Roman paying for it. When he bought Chelsea, it could have afforded to buy TWO of the players he paid for, let alone the god knows how many that have passed through since.

You are one DOPEYif you genuinely believe Chelsea bought all they have, without Roman's money

Erm, who was talking about when Roman first took over? People were comparing the clubs as they stand now.

It's Ken Bates who paid £1 then sold to Roman for £60m.

Yet further proof that you are thick as feck and have no concept of how business works. For years Abromovic underwrote Chelsea's spending. season after season the club bought 100s of millions of pounds worth of players CHELSEA FC did not have the money in the bank to afford.

EVERYTHING at the club now, is the direct result of Roman's millions and no FFP. Hence you lot are now stuffed because your tiny rinky-dink shtheap of a ground cannot sustain the team. You are still in the position that if Abramovic was to take even 1/4 of what he's pumped into the club, back out of it, CFC would be instantly bankrupt. Seriously, if you don't understand the basic fact that the club itself still has very little money, then it's pointless even trying to explain this to you.

FGS you've just seen the greatest manager in your history crash and burn with the champions, because FFP meant that the club had no money for him to dive into the transfer market this summer. WE could have spent 150mil if we'd really wanted to. YOU LOT ARE SKINT!!!

Oh and by the way, we have a billionaire owner too. But if he left tomorrow, we'd STILL be filthy rich because our club was built with it's own money, NOT the billionaires

You know yours was the original outfit to be bailed out by a wealthy benefactor, right

Not to the tune of a billion quid and not to pay for what we have now. What we have now was built. Not bought by some ruch dude who just wanted to win and never ever wanted his money back. You know that whole "Self sustaining model." That was talked about and hailed as the way forward in modern football when we started doing it. That silly idea that all clubs began to emulate

Wasnt sure which one it was but in typical internet forym style went for it without checking and dont give a crap I got the wrong one. They were still a small club. £60m will buy one decent player these days

And that model works for you, a club with a distinct lack of ambition/ability to win the biggest prizes in football.
