Best stand up comedian

I did try. I honestly not that lazy. However, I am 3/4 deep in a bottle of whisky so forgive my lack of Google skills.

Romesh did a gig in belfast wi Bridges, and mate sai d he was class.......doing research on ukip site, Romesh was impressed so much that he rang his mum to tell her to do one,lol.

Lying awake, the late great Robin Williams came to mind as a stand up dude.

For younger guys, check out Peter Cook n Dudley Moore, the goonns, spike milligan and Frank Carson, Tommy Cooper, Bill Hicks and even ad lib master, Bob Monkhouse.

Like what I have seen of those guys but only really Hicks I've watched full stands up. Father Ted is a classic.

I know a CofE vicar who is a dead rubber for Farther Dougal. Looks dead like him, and just as daft.

Funny but dirty as fvck and some of the stuff he writes away from comedy for the Guardian are absolutely on the pulse.

When a comedian helps you to see life in a different way you know it's more than just about the comedy.
