Player for player we are a million times better than Leicester. However, today and all this season as a team Leicester are a cracking team. When Raneiri was appointed I thought they were relegation fodder, but how wrong could I be and fair play to them.
My point is, I believe we have one of the best starting elevens in the league, and we dominate games but I'm never convinced we're goner beat teams that we should.
Martinez is not the answer and I think we'll probably end up somewhere close to where we currently are in the league. I believe a more positive direct manager would have us further up the league. I'm not saying we're the best team in the league by any means but there are a lot of teams in the league that would like to have players such as Lukaku, Deulofeu, Barkley, Coleman, Stones, Baines.
He's done well to keep these players together but he's not the man to take us to the next level for me.

Everton played well today and we had an off game but we seem to be able to win when we're not at our best and that's down to our team spirit and belief.
You've got some good players but not enough in my opinion and I'd heavily argue that you were better player for player but I can't be arshed to argue with your opinions ๐ You played better on the day but still lost, I'd say that suggests you don't have enough quality.
Your wingers aren't good enough and you need someone else with Lukaku but January coming up so maybe you can add some needed quality and push for top six ๐

Who is the man to take us to the next level. The same level Moyes never managed?

Arouna, would have Moyes back at the drop of a hat, he was a ditherer but compared with this bloke he was as decisive as decisive gets. As for the next level, I would take consistent top 7 (which especially with this squad should be regularly achievable). Martinez MO (except with Wigans last Prem Season) is for his teams to bluster, bluster, bluster and then give a few bursts toward the end of the season in order to make him look briefly good and keep his job. Football is a very competitive game, it is why we all played it and in my own case why I watch it. This bloke doesn't believe goals from set pieces, corners etc! are real goals FFS.

On average so far Martinez is looking at 6/7th.
I would never want Moyes back after he led the club on from Xmas until he took the United job. Thankful for the job he did, but nothing makes me want him back. He took United from Champions to below his old club!

We have commented about this before. I firmly believe that our good finish in Martinez 1st season was because the players (defence in particular) were playing on residual tactical memory instilled by Moyes. Last season and this there is no doubt in my mind that he has us playing like Wigan, stutter, stutter, stutter and then a boost toward the end just enough to ensure Martinez keeps his job, that is until his final season. The bloke was employed because his team won the FA Cup, beat us 3-0 on the way, promised Champions League (They were Bills words) and finally because he was cheap and a good waffle (my words). The average you are talking about is Moyes average. What appears to be blind to some is that the top of this Prem is performing mediocre and other Teams with lesser Squads (no offence to them just opinion) than ours are out performing us with a so-called better squad. The fault has to be placed at the feet of Roberto and his staff, (big dunc being the exception, he has got Lukaku playing really well) generally this is the same group that took Wigan down.

You are welcome to your opinion.
Regarding Wigan, well that's Wigan. It's shown that the lowest spenders in the league usually get relegated. It's no surprise they went down after Whelan stopped funding the club.
Still not been given a viable alternative by anyone. The only one for me would be Howe at the moment

I was against the appointment of Martinez from the start and said so at the time, on this Forum.
Big Dunc agreed with me in Sept 2014 when he correctly commented on Roberto`s annoying trend of being "still excited at our incredible squad".
He (Roberto) still maintains the same position and i cringe at his after-match comments.
Sadly, these negative comments on my part do not mean that i have any constructive ideas as to who i would like to replace him. I just fear that if we fail to beat City in the forthcoming Cup-Tie,that we shall be seeing the departure of several Players who have already been earmarked for futures elsewhere.
I dare not even want to think about the F.A. Cup Tie. It has "Giant Killers" written all over it.

I'm starting to lean towards a change of manager, Martinez just doesn't have what it takes to take us to the next level, he is also to stubborn to change things around, he must be a dream for opposition managers to work us out with his if plan A doesn't work then try plan A again and again. Plus his insistence of playing Konehead is baffling to say the least.
