Murray is by far the best sportsman Scotland has produced and thoroughly deserves the BBC award . Lewis Hamilton is not even a sportsman.....it's Scaletrix !!! Not a sport !

Just another observation - British tennis has no one coming up behind the Murray. It's going to be a huge decline in British tennis when Murray retires.
5 years ago the Davis cup team were in the 5th tier of world tennis, then Murray decided he would play for them knowing it would impact his ability to win grand slams. The result, the British Davis cup team are no 1 in the world! You will never see that again in your life time!
It's the equivalence of Christiano Ronaldo or Messi changing nationality and opting to represent San Marino and San Marino within 5 years winning the World Cup and becoming 1st ranking in the world. Last time I seen equivalent of this in football was when maradona was at his peak and won World Cup for Argentina in 86 with those wonder goals.
The LTA are in disarray! Thought andy comments recently were brilliant, "why should I waste my time talking to the LTA". Also taking photos of the empty tennis academy in roehampton and posting on twitter that cost £40m that place! And no one uses it ! Disgrace! That place should be packed out with classes for coaching kids FFs at cut price if not free!
