According to the Liverpool Echo we've agreed a £5 million fee for Marko Grujic expected to sign for us when the January transfer window opens and will spend the rest of the season at Red Star Belgrade.
And apparently he's taking the number 8 shirt!
Fair play to the lad, not afraid of the pressure apparently!
Our new number 8?

Talking about 19 year old midfielders, anyone know what happened to that kid who was scoring quite a few for MK Dons in League 1 last year? Heard Gerrard was his idol, reckon he's got a big future...

Last I heard he's gaining some valuable playing experience before he'll push through a dream move to Anfield.

according to Red Star's sporting director Zvezdan Terzic.
""We will, in the next three days, sign a contract with Liverpool. Marko Grujic will sign a five-year contract with Liverpool where he will have a €1.2m annual net income, which means that he will have €6m from Liverpool. He'll get No. 8 on the back.""

We will have to build for the long term. Absolutely gutted this is the case because when Brendan arrived at the club we were doing the same thing.
As it stands we have taken in a raft of new players on big contracts many of whom are just not good enough to produce the football Klopp demands.
Needless to say while that's going on we will struggle and another two seasons of transition await.
I don't know that much about Grujic except he has massive work rate is young and already a leader of the team.
Be nice to have him on board.

Only in your dreams!!
He is destined to be a Tottenham star & would not want to take a backward step in his career by moving to you!
