I was considering getting fallout 4 for over Christmas while I have some time off work. I used to be big into my games but don't get the time to play them much these days.
What I want to know is why such a massive and eagerly awaited game has dropped in price by almost half in such a short time? Is there something I'm missing here? Do you have to by on-line subscriptions or expansion packs? Or have sales been bad?

I have the same problem with time, games don't grab me like they used to, still looking forward to VR ( been waiting 20 years )
As for Fallout not a game I have played, but the reviews were pretty positive and i'm sure there is plenty of fun to be had with the game, so I dont know any reason for a price drop.
I would say give it a go, but will also point out Witcher is game of the year on many sites.

I bought it when price dropped. No idea why it did though

Nothing to worry about Kenny tis just the time of sales, and with Fallout being one of the biggest sellers their just trying to maximise sales. After xmas will be back to fall price.
If time is your problem then i would get Fallout 4 due to one thing it does better than Witcher 3, quicksave. Witcher 3 also does quicksave pretty well but there are places you cant and you go yo the start of the mission.

As an example a couple of years ago i bought farcry 3 for 50% on the 12 days sale, never got that cheap again on psn until maybe 2 years later so enjoy the discount!
