Employment Query

Guys

Rushed off my feet! Hope you all have a Merry Christmas. Anyway, my lawyer who operates out of New York has finished for the year so I am seeking employment advice. My employer (a rich powerful man) is demanding to me that I work tomorrow in Beijing. Nothing too fancy, just some public speaking in front a board and then a conference call before taking some clients out for a meal. The point I am making to my employer is that I should have the day off as it's Christmas Day, but he is adamant that it isn't Christmas in Beijing therefore I have to work.

Help?

I'm sure they can get someone to take the orders at the drive through window from an agency without you having to fly to China.
