Just seen on it's my arsenal opinion, the tribute picture that is hopefully going to be on the match programme for Monday versus Bournmouth- a beautiful picture, poignant and fitting for a great arsenal man, brings back so many memories, it was the first trophy win I remember as a gooner, Neill and Howe were a real duo, he was a massive part of the club for many years.
The fans always loved Don and he loved the club, loosing this generation is very tough, a big part of us all, that link from a different age, a different way of life, to think Jimmy hill started his working life as chimney sweep, his dad was a milkman, I guess working class heroes, the generation of my parents, a very special generation, feeling sad but that's life, we have to make the most of all our time together while we're here.
Merry christmas fellow gunners, we have a special history, we are "the arsenal", Don always called us that way "the arsenal".

I remember it for all the wrong reasons, we'd somehow got ourselves level then Sunderland went and spoilt things.
anyhow RIP Don Howe, great football man
