Fresh from the tears and despair of the recent JA606DCFCPoTY2015 early campaigns, and scandals along with that, we approach the classic Boxing Day match. Wouldn't say I'm in the best of moods, seeing as I've been accused of being a corrupt voter, personally victimised by 666 who doesn't understand my long term PoTY game plan, received a wonderful record player for Christmas which *gasp* doesn't work... AND this morning my old man went to the parkrun without me (he came back even older, sweating pure Harvey's Bristol Cream)
Derby have an unchanged squad today with plenty of options available for Clement, so the question is really whether he will go with the traditional tried and tested (and mostly working) team or the more exciting collection of players we saw batter Bristol.
We could go top today!!! (if only briefly, seeing as 'Boro's match has been postponed)
Shout out to Rameses who'll be attending his first match today as a season ticket holder, after a distinguished career of night shifts... (oh and 30 years in the army )
Shout out to Iwas for having somehow acquired several votes for his lordship in these early stages of the JA606DCFCPoTY2015... by way of witchcraft perhaps? I'm saying nothing...
And a shout out to 666. Sorry for my moment of madness and rash abandoning of our joint campaign. I have mulled over the situation and I apologise unreservedly with a hope as to relaunching our campaign effort? (Doesn't look like Iwas's firstborn is having another party anyway)
Let's do this!

Afternoon all. Much more sensible timing now. Just stopped for lunch on the winery tour. 15 tasted so far today. Next up Vidal Estate.
Good win that today.

Morning.
I think the Rams are doing enough at the moment and no more. We are winning comfortably without dominating. Too many players are playing below their average. Defensively the team is magnificent with every man busting a gut to win the ball back. It's going forward where the problems are. We are too slow at moving the ball and loose passing.
Thorne was poor, Johnson too. Johnny got it right a couple of times but didn't look interested for long periods. Ince was marked out of it AGAIN on the wing and none of his tricks came off.
We are top of the league and only doing enough so not too bad eh. Over 31,000 Derby fans too.

Just imagine what it would be like if they all got behind the team....

There were too many times when a first time shot would have been better than a controlling touch and then a shot. OK a first timer may go seriously awry, but it seems a touch and then a shot results in a block as a defender gets into position.
