We are gone, that is the final nail..........
Give the youngsters a go for the rest of the season
That buffoon Lerner has wrecked this club and until he fecks off there will be no recovery
Once we are in the Championship will be a relief, but the rest of this season will be a long painful four/five months

Dont waste a penny in January

Fair enough dat but Roman can bankroll Chelsea out of trouble if he thought they were in it, which they are not.
We have no quality, they have it in spades.

I don't mean it in that sense- I mean if you look at the negative change they've had in the last half season from lifting the title to where they are now then it shows you how the fortunes of a team can change very drastically in half a season. Who's to say that you couldn't have a similar change of fortune but in a positive sense rather than negative in their case?
I've only seen you a few times this season so can't really comment on your quality but what I will say is that you don't necessarily need top quality to win games in the premier league.. leicester aren't exactly full of quality but they've found an effective style which gets them results which is dependent on defending as a team and then breaking quickly-why couldn't you adopt a similar style as you do have quick players like sinclair and ayew? I don't really know the style you're using now but i think absorbing the pressure and then countering at pace could see your results improve a lot. Is agbonlahor still around? He'd be ideal in this system and could do the role that vardy does for leicester for you.
I definitely wouldn't say that you're gone yet. You'll also be my second team for the rest of the season as I love it when teams get written off by everyone and then prove them all wrong like leicester last season

Throwing youngsters in the deep end against PL opponents isn't the way to do it. The experience will damage them rather than help them. Introduce some gradually, maybe, but for the bulk of the team we need to look elsewhere.
We need to spend, whatever. Go down or not, we need to start putting together the sort of performances which get results, and the squad as it is is too weak. The position now will alter who we can get, but we should still be able to get players who will strengthen the team. And we need to finally ditch the players who should have no future with the Club, such as Gabby.
In the meantime, lets go and mash Sunderland and aim for a decent Cup run.

Sorry mcp we shouldnt throw money at it.....there are good players out there, yes bring them in gradually.
Prime example give Kinsella a go he must be feckin better than Richardson?

It would have been worth the buffoon investing with all the money on offer this year.........Bournemouth will get a fine but compared to what they get,,,,,,peanuts.

Andy - spending as an investment isn't throwing money at it. I'm not advocating the stupid approach QPR had 4 years ago. If we can find players who are good enough and who are willing to come we should get them.
We need a left back, either Bennett / Cissokho or somebody new. We need an anchorman in midfield. We need somebody who is a real striker. I can't see what we would gain by denying ourselves those if we can get them.
Somewhere this season we need to start winning games. Failure to do that will do longer term damage to the club than just relegation. For everybody's sake we need to finish this season in as good a shape as possible.
