Stubbs' reaction to Halliday's red card was pathetic as expected.

“Why did Andy Halliday put himself in that position? People will say Fraser has done this but you know me, I won’t duck a question and yes, he probably could have reacted better. But why has Andy put himself in that position?

“I was a bit worried because coming off I think Andy was blaming me. But I never made him go towards Fraser. They were winning the game at that time.

“Let’s answer the next question. Why lead with your shoulder into someone.

“I thought Bobby Madden was very good today. He managed the game fantastically well, let challenges go and was quite lenient to both teams. But if you look at the replay in Bobby’s line you can see why he gave it.”

Asked if Rangers have a decent case for an appeal Stubbs answered: “It all depends who they get on the panel.”
