Seeing as our performance against Chelsea has taken a lot of steam off from LVG, which makes it look like LVG will be given more time.
Now, the January transfer window will be opening in a few days time. Seeing as Robben did very well under LVG during the 2014 World Cup. Do you think it's worth going for him this January?
He will of course be a short term fix, but he could be the answer in the short term to provide the needed flair on the wings.
Arjen Robben

I want Ronaldo.

I have a feeling that he will be Woodwards no.1 target in the summer

I was thinking the same thing, we are missing a player of that calibre.
LVG wanted Di Maria to replicate that, but unfortunately that didn't work out.
Robben will be a superb short term signing, if he stays injury free.
His strong relationship with LVG might be enough to persuade him to come here.

he turns 32 in january, and seems to have averaged c. 20 league games a season for bayern, ie missing 40-45% of their games. given united is not known for its ability to keep players injury-free it has the potential to turn into a disaster (pay him £150k a week, he misses half your games, his effective wage is over £200k a week).

personally dont see it happening, he may be back up for them now, but its not like he needs a european championship place, dont see him leaving before seasons end tbh.

What's peoples opinion on Lucas Moura? He has been linked to us quite recently.
I'd imagine if he's just a bench warmer for PSG as some have suggested, he'd be more obtainable than most in the winter window.

What an absolute flopper he was at Chelsea, maybe we'll get some pens if we sign him. But... I don't see it, Bayern are still hunting silver, we're hunting mediocrity.

Apparently he is not happy at PSG

Translation in Key Points:
Lucas is being used as a "super-sub" more often (Solskjær as the reference) which is something that was not originally planned when he signed. When he starts, he often disappoints, but he is very good from the bench to provide dynamism.
Pundits claim that it is a mental problem, not a physical one. Lucas puts pressure upon himself to perform and puts too much on himself. Also, they suggest that he is too repetitive in his play. It is a common criticism because Lucas likes to dribble a lot, so sometimes he will dribble too much.
They mention competition in the team. Zlatan is untouchable, Cavani is not that good but he has his own advantages, and Di María does things similarly to Lucas but he has more end product.
They talk about how he has disappointed in his progression. They say he has not improved much since he signed, and that when he came to Europe, he was regarded in the same view as Neymar. But Neymar has improved significantly, while Lucas has stagnated.
But this does not stop the interest from other clubs. They mention how Lucas was close to signing for Manchester United in 2012, and that he even had a medical. But he re-signed his contract in June until 2019. Perhaps he could be the next Solskjær...
