i have to say this has been one of the best transfer windows for a very long time. strengthened all areas with the majority being young and (hopefully) hungry players. well done OC

Anyone watching SSN live now (9.05pm). Harry Rednapp has just said they have tried but failed to get Cahill and it's definately off.
Looks like its staying which I think is good for our season but maybe not so good for our bank balance.

A lot of people said on these boards that Cahill would be gone now. Absolutely delighted he's here. Clearly Eddie Davies has considered the bids (Even after a decent Spurs one apparently), & put the progression of the club first.
