Rangers sign goalkeeper

You've described Foderingham pretty well I think. At the moment he's the only fit senior keeper we have so this guy looks likely to be back-up. But we'll see how it goes....

Good signing and hopefully pushes wes on further.
And hopefully signals the end of Calamity's Rangers career.

Foderingham started off a bit shakey but has settled well, he can be suspect at times with crosses and coming off his line, it may be communication with his defence, he has had far more excellent games than poor ones , he is still young for a keeper

Foderingham is an excellent keeper.
Warburtons best signing imo. Could see him in the Prem at some stage in his career.

New signing has a history of tossing pineapples

The main thing I'm liking is the signing policy, picking up players that have potential, 27 is still young for a keeper, alot of the greats do their best work from bout 29 onwards and only giving out contracts till the end of the season means the players really have to showcase their talent quickly or its back to job hunting for them. Giving players 3 and 4 yr contracts right of the bat is generally a risk unless you definately know the player is top class, when we are signing great potential its good to be giving them the carrot (or pineapple) to really go for it.

At least rangers are getting the signings in early. Obviously targets have already been identified

Warburton said as much I'm sure that he had a few he was looking to bring in. Sooner they're signed the sooner you're able to play them.
Always frustrated me when signings are clearly needed but it's all done in final hours of the window. I know that it will be partly clubs fault dragging heels partly agents trying to use interest to get better deal elsewhere. But it's refreshing to get guys in quickly even on short deals
