During the press conference today Klopp said these words about DS.
Klopp on Sturridge: "Daniel has had some little problems. When he's had a row of sessions, I will pick him. He's not available."
Klopp confirms Daniel Sturridge is not available for the trip to face Stoke City
Crux of it is he's still not available. & he seems to have had more problems in training. Again!
Klopp on Sturridge:" It would be easy for me to say, come on, let's try, we dont score enough goals, but we have to be patient."
Klopp: "Daniel had last pre-season in 2011. During that period we load bodies with strength. We're trying to fill his body with energy,"
**Will he ever be available for 5-10 Games in a row? Sigh....
Sick-note just keeps getting worse!

Sad to see that two of England's best players, Jack Wheelchair and Sicknote Sturridge are probably finished in relation to playing top level games consistently.

No evidence to suggest that. Gerrard was a nightmare with injuries early in his career. Very rarely injured later on. This probably applies more to wilshere, but the body can clearly develop more to ward off that sort of thing. Similar to Gerrard, wilshere needs to learn when not to jump into daft tackles.

Klopp has this one sussed, he has an acceptable level of performance in training which doesn't change for any player.
Going on that premise we will see Studge back fit and firing sometime in early 2019.

Hmmm a lot of players have had their injury problems in their careers.
RVP, Gerrard.... etc.
Klopp wants him back firing and is rebuilding him slowly, however if after this he goes long term again then I'm sure his future will be discussed at the end of the season.

Gerrard has nowhere near the injury problems Wilshere has had.
He had some niggles but not the persistent problems.
This is Wilsheres 6th proper season with Arsenal and he has played 100 PL games for them.
Gerrard played 188 in comparison in his first 6 full seasons, culminating in Istanbul.

Sturridge has been viewed as the ultimate panacea for most of the club's poor performance, for most of this season. Problem being he would never have been able to deliver, so we have had to rely on the Belgian Cart-horse for goals which was always going to end up as a drama.
Mid-table and no trophies... that's a realistic and likely outcome for this season. All we can do is hope the owners are prepared to spend their hard-earned money on yet more players, recognising that the overpriced dross brought in by Brendan is fit only as a tax write-down on losses incurred.

I think this is klopp saying if you keep moaning about slight knocks and missing sessions you ain't playing. Prove to me your fit and tough enough to train and you play
