According to the evening standard we are stalling on a bid due to concerns that his supposed attitude would affect squad spirit.
I and a number of others have made this point several times to don and a few others and it seems as if the club share my concerns.
The standard go on to say that we had a 25m bid turned down in summer , which is far more than he is worth anyway in my opinion and I cannot help but think that we could find much better options elsewhere for that kind of money. I can never remember squad harmony being so good. Are we sure we want to risk it over this guy who has proven to have had a poor attitude after not getting the move he wanted in summer (the huge forward step from west brom to Spurs)
Thoughts ?

Not really, as football manager involves buying players.

If we aren't in for Berahino then I'd like to think we have someone else lined up.

Wait how on earth does anyone know what is going on behind the scenes with him? How do you know he is not working his butt off in training but that west brom just don't want to play him. How are you guys going to judge him like that when you don't even know him, just cos of 'reports' in the media have said so. The same media you are so happy to disagree with and class as nonsense when it suits your own agenda.
1 bad tweet which he apologised for is the only concrete evidence we know. Hes just a kid ffs very young. Lay off. I for one would like him at spurs, he hasnt become a bad player overnight and i don't believe these rumours of him being trouble

so its once in a generation now? before it was once ever opportunity…
furthermore, of the 7 players we bought with the money, 2 have been clear successes, 1 is slowly realising his potential, and the other 4 were sold off and we recouped most of what we paid
now… QPR? 12 mill for samba
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Recouped most of what you paid O dear the dellusion continues mate sorry. You sold soldado for a tiny amount didnt you
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's have a look at purchase prices compared to sell on prices/current value:
Nacer Chadli - Bought: £7 million, Value Now: £10 million
Roberto Soldado - Bought: £15 million (Add ons hardly triggered), Sold: £10 million
Paulinho - Bought: £17 million, Sold: £10 million
Etienne Capoue - Bought: £8 million, Sold: £6.5 million
Christian Eriksen - Bought: £11 million, Value: £20 million
Erik Lamela - Bought £27 million, Value: £15 million
Vlad Chiriches - Bought £6.5 million, Sold: £4.5 million
I make that around £15 million in the red. That's not horrendous for a £100 million splurge. You then have to realise that whilst Soldado was a failed signing, it paved the way for Kane to develop into the striker he is today. His value now would be upwards of £30 million which instantly sends us into the green.
That's without considering the value of the other players who have built first team careers as a result of poor performances from some of those signings, notably Eric Dier, Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb.
Considering our low wage bill on these signings too, I'd consider that window a success in the long-term. How did paying Samba and Bosingwa £100k a week each pan out for you guys?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Completely clutching at straws there mate. How you can consider that a success is very funny. You speculate on add ons for people you bought and not for those you sold. Also i suspect soldado cost you way more than 15 mil. Either way, that sort of money will never come spurs way again, you should of used it on a stadium, now you will have to bankrupt yourself building a stadium and your team will suffer. When your team suffers you wont fill your stadium. The result will likely be a crisis at spurs. Trust me

Tflop still here?
The only way they attracted players of any repute was to pay them £30k more than they actually asked for:
Bosingwa
Shiite-Phillips
Barton
Wage bill the size of Dortmund's - one club was bound for the champions league final, the other one was bound for relegation
