Peterborough V Preston (FAC)

The Posh are overdue a decent and lucrative run in the FA Cup and should be confident of beating Preston, who are not playing well away from home in the Championship.

Ironically, current Posh Manager Graham Westley and past Posh manager Darren Ferguson, both came a cropper managing Preston. I suspect therefore that Westley will secretly be more than delighted to put one over the Lilywhites, although he is grateful to Preston for what he learnt whilst at the club.

That said, the Posh cannot afford to be complacent. Preston, after all, are a Championship side. With a promotion in our sights, it will be interesting to see how we cope on Saturday.

UTP!

P.S. I just hope there aren't too many Championship scouts watching our talent. At least, they won't be able to prise Samuelsen away from us/West Ham.

Just saw Darren Ferguson on Football Focus.

Yes 2-0 surely game over.

Conor Washington is a better striker then Man Utd have.

Fully agree, Hafi.

A comfortable win against an ineffectual Preston side somewhat lacking in confidence.

Two great goals - a good one from Samuelsen (Man U should try to prise him from West Ham) and a beauty from Washington (please stay!).

Man City next at home?

Good performance and good win

Samuelson looks a hell of a prospect for West Ham.

Reminds me of Steve McManaman.

I want the winners of Carlisle & Yeovil at home please! Let's go all the way

Imagine Man Utd vs Peterborough Utd next round.

A possibility now, and with Man U only winning today in the 90th minute, the Posh could beat them.

Sorry, Righteous (in German), but Carlisle/Yeovil at home would be dire.

B****r, in all likelihood WBA away (again!) in the FA Cup.

Rubbish draw.

Hopefully, the team we have now will do better than the teams that played WBA in the past - we'll need Washington, though!
