Unlike True Blew, I don't like to see any poster leave our board and personally I'd like JG back on here! I disagreed frequently with John but I always found his posts to be pretty well informed and his contributions are missed.
Some of you may remember my plea to Arro to return to 606 when he left this board last year following a heated exchange with the West Brom fans. Now while some weren't keen,I think my request for Arro to return to the fold is proving to be inspired given his recent postings. Particularly the fantastic insight into his private life. And indeed his privates.
But I digress........John, if you're out there, you're sorely missed, I'm sure Mersey and Dunge and others would join me in asking that you dust off that keyboard and contribute once more....

Great post Dunge. How we react when the chips are down will be key and was the defining point of our championship winning side under Pearson. We were able to bounce back immediately from the odd disappointing defeat, or the draw against Yeovil as I recall and to click right back into place.
I saw signs of that against Tottenham and really this match on Wed will I think give us our first indicator.
Will Ranieri do a Pearson and opt for a safety first approach when we started to struggle last year? Would Ranieri be better at this with all the players back on Wed than Pearson was? Or will we click back into place and hit the ground with high tempo counter attacking football where we score 2 or 3 goals away from home?

I have been to Bangkok and all round the middle east everyone when i mention our club response with a smile on their face. You could not of said that in the past. I am going to a cafe on Saturday with a group of Algerian fans to watch the Villa game. Very happy days.

Wow, this thread has suddenly become interesting and engaging.
I think I agree with both JG and Dunge.
What I hope is that JG can identify the articles he wishes to participate and add value to. They are there, even if it does require avoidance of the odd thread, which I fully appreciate, are not for Johngee!
I still believe we need to give Ranieri at least 1 full season before we judge him and ideally 2 before we can really comment on whether he's been successful here, but for all the reason JG lays out above, there is very little to question so far.
I have to admit, I've been astonished by his tactical improvement of our team and his ability to influence games with changes.
That, coupled with the way he's gone about his business by building on the previous success, has to be applauded.
He clearly is enjoying his time at our club and in our city. For that, you've got to love him for it. Especially if he continues to bring the level of success we've seen in the first half of this season.

Yes I said I didn't rate certain teams but so what? The reason why I was even saying anything about them in the first place was because everyone was writing our players off, including you BS.
Spurs fans were slagging us off and in return I told them what I thought to their squad and I wasjy wrong was I!! But they were wrong about us! Why is nobody barracking their boards for getting it so wrong about us?
If it hadn't been for their ignorance in the first place, I wouldn't have been defending our club!
I don't want them on here anymore than you JG but this came from me defending our club and players and even Leicester fans thought I was nuts, so I didn't get anyone backing me up!
What I got instead was every man and his dog spouting shiite because I said I didn't rate their squads that highly! Well they don't rate ours and were on here telling us how shiiite we are so why am I any different? I'm not in their boards laughing about their results either, I'm posting articles about Leicester in the aim of generating sensible debate by Leicester fans and it gets hijacked by these cretins!
As a collective, why don't we tell everyone to disappear back to their own boards and just delete all their comments that are aimed to wum? Simple and they'll soon get the hint! Nobody has an issue with sensible debate and anyone that wants to talk football will be welcomed by me!
From now on I will be deleting every wum post on my articles, they'll soon get fed up so if everyone else does the same we'll get rid of them!
I accept I created the situation, inadvertently I might add, but this is a solution to get our board back 👍

You've got that totally wrong I'm afraid. Appreciating other players isn't the same as writing off your own. This is the best league in the world. Its full of some of the best players in the world. Absolutely nothing wrong in recognising that.
I think we have an immensely talented squad with a really bright future. But just because I don't accept they are world beaters just yet - it doesn't mean I'm writing them off.
I appreciate we are on our way to building something special - but we're not there yet. Vardy has been terrific, but we can start measuring him as equal to people like Alexis Sanchez when he achieves what Sanchez has for example.

...but just to add, just because I don't think Vardy is at Sanchez's level, that doesnt mean I don't rate him as a top premier league striker. He absolutely is. I just think he still has more to prove and more to give

Just for the record , both Nev and I did warn against knocking other teams players/ squads I believe, it's always better to promote your own attributes than knock those of others.
So as a mighty surprise to BS I do agree that other teams fans wouldn't be so angsty if you'd kept to that mantra.
Still, keep up the good work having total confidence in our team in Blue.
