Just heard a Liverpool fan go on to Talksport to suggest you'd have been better off getting Gerrard back to play centre back rather than Caulker. Apparently Stevie has all the skills to play here.
This isn't a dig as I didn't see him on a weekly basis but surely this is absolute nonsense?

Would rather a centre back at centre back than a 35 year old central midfield player.

Exactly this. The guys comment absolutely baffled me, but glad to hear he's in the minority seemingly at least

Feck me the nicknames on here get better by the day.
Do you think you are clever calling him that?
Why not just call him Stevie?
I didn't think it was the school holidays still

Don't be so sensitive to everything, it's not even a dig anymore that. Just how 95% of people remember him.
Would it help you if I said again what a very good player he was? Talking about school holidays over here.

A few years back Stevie would have done a job at center half but not now.

If we were going to go down the daft route of pulling a player out of what is essentially retirement, it would make sense to get Jamie carragher, the actual centre back, to come and fill in for a few games. Lets face it, he's no more slow or out of shape than when he packed it in.

Stevie g at cb no way. He was not disciplined for dm role so I dread him at cb at this age. Of younger no issues as his recovery soled would get him out of jail. No way not now.

If everyone made an article about something weird they read or heard in the media then there'd be... An impossible sheet load of articles. OP should be wary not to lend too much thought to such trivialities. I wouldn't be surprised if you heard a fan somewhere saying to bring Carra out of retirement. That's just the way it is.

Just a simple hypothetical question Mamba, nothing more. A fan suggested it so I wanted to expand the conversation and see whether there is general consensus or derision at the suggestion.
Makes a change from the usual 'Love Klopp' or 'Hate Klopp' articles that have been filling Ja606 recently at least.
