Surely this is a good, cheap signing, as Modric isn't joining, that will provide us with creativity.
His age is apparently a minus point but I think that it's a plus because it means that he won't be keeping Josh out of the team in a few years time.
We also don't have to worry about him getting injured in an international break.
I know it's not ideal but at this point in the window, do we have much choice? I hope AVB goes for him as we can surely outbid Arsenal for him.
PS: I know someone made an article a few hours back, just wondering if your opinion has changed closer to the end of the window.

Lampard improved alot when Mata came on... Ramires gets the ball forward fast and combined very well with Bosingwa...

Torres can do what Falcao did, he just needs the correct wingers to flank him aka Mata and Sturridge.

I doubt we'd buy anything other than another cm to make up the numbers and possibly a LB to replace Cole because he isn't a good enough passer of the ball.

Falcao is an in box player. Just stays there and they keep putting balls in to him. Torres looks to run off defenders, you need players to put the ball through to him, pointless only having one player that can do that.
